REFLECTIONS
Dual Illumination.
The Shifting Surface.
"A painting is never static; it changes as the light around it changes."
The "Reflections" series is a collection of contemporary paintings created with special luminous pigments that transform under light. Each work in this series is developed to exist across two distinct states of perception: full ambient daylight and activated darkness. In daylight, the focus rests on raw texture, structural composition, and subdued tone. Under specialized illumination, underlying pigments awaken, bringing submerged imagery and hidden traces to the forefront. This dual existence invites the viewer into an intimate, reflective dialogue with what remains seen and unseen.
